Phone: 0121 472 0116 CategoriesAbout this organisationFircroft is a residential college for adults. The College’s mission is to promote social justice through personal, professional and political development. The college’s history lies in its work with some of the most disadvantaged groups in our society and how it can contribute to improving both individual lives and the communities of which we are all part. The short course programme is aimed at developing individual skills, knowledge and experience and improving organisations’ capacity to undertake their work and fulfil their purpose and mission. A great place to live and learn Fircroft is located in Selly Oak in Birmingham in a beautiful Victorian building, formally a Cadbury home set in 6 acres of woodland and gardens. The college and its linked teaching centre have modern learning resources, computer facilities, library and a secure environment with on-site night support. Being in residence at the college throughout a course is an important part of the learning experience. There are 46 study bedrooms available, most en-suite. The learning environment is open 24 hours a day and students have a unique opportunity to engage with a network of friendly, diverse, like-minded people, supporting each other to learn and share experiences. |
